Dr. Sayantan Choudhury has research experience of 8 years in the branch of Theoretical Cosmology, Quantum Information aspects of Gravity, QFT in curved space, Open quantum systems, Thermalization and quantum quench, Effective field theory, String Cosmology, Study of SYK and Tensor like models, Bose-Fermi duality in Chern Simons matter theories. He worked as a postdoc fellow at (1) DTP-TIFR, Mumbai, (2) IUCAA, Pune, (3) MPIGP, AEI, Potsdam, and as a Visiting Scientist at (1) SPS, NISER, Bhubaneswar, (2) IOP, Bhubaneswar and (3) ICTS-TIFR, Bengaluru. His present research includes Quantum Information Theoretic aspects in Cosmology; Circuit and Krylov complexity in QFT, Holography, and Cosmology; Entanglement negativity; Quantum discord; Out-of-Time-Ordered-Correlation (OTOC) in Cosmology; Chaos and Complexity; Quantum neural network, Machine Learning, and its QFT connection; Wormhole with and without averaging. He has mentored 4 M.Sc. students and more than 31 students at the level of M.Sc., Ph.D., and B.Sc. He is now the peer reviewer of 37 international peer-reviewed journals and is associated with the Editorial Board of 4 journals. He also established an international non-profit research consortium called "Quantum Aspects of Spacetime and Matter (QASTM)" where students from various parts of the world come together and work with him on research projects.
